Sibtain Ali Shah Bukhari (born (day) February 1979, Karachi, Pakistan) is a Pakistani private banker & philanthropist.

Early life and education

Bukhari was born in Karachi on (day) February 1979. Bukhari’s grandfather, Ameer Shah Bukhari, an ICS officer, later became a revenue collector in Hyderabad, Sindh. His father, Shaukat Shah Bukhari, a senior bureaucrat and author, served as the Director General of Excise Police in Sindh, Pakistan. Bukhari completed his early education at the St Paul’s School. Captain of Football & hockey team, won several medals for racing/swimming. In 1999, Bukhari moved to Manchester to receive a bachelor’s degree in marketing at The University of Manchester. Two years later, he returned to Karachi to continue his education. He secured an MBA in marketing from the Institute of Business Management, Karachi—President of Marketing Society & Student Council in IobM.

In 2010, he traveled to Boston and enrolled at the Harvard Business School, obtaining a business and managerial economics degree.

Career

Bukhari began his career as a AUTOS Product and policy manager at the PICIC Commercial Bank Limited in Karachi in 2005.

In 2006, Bukhari joined the United Bank Limited as a Relationship Manager. A year later, Bukhari was appointed Premier Relationship Manager at HSBC. In December 2008, Bukhari moved to the United Arab Emirates to work as a Business Development Manager at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. After RBS’s acquisition, he was appointed Relationship Manager for Islamic Investment Banking in 2009. When RBS was Acquired by ADCB In October 2010, he services as Manager Islamic Investment Product Development & Sales.

Four years later, he joined the Emirates Bank as a Senior relationship manager/AVP in Priority Banking.

In 2017, Bukhari joined Noor Bank in Dubai as a Senior Wealth Manager. After Noor Bank’s acquisition by Dubai

Islamic Bank, he worked as a VP-Senior Wealth Manager.

In 2021, Bukhari was appointed as the director of wealth management at Daman Investments in Dubai.

As of 2024, he serves as the Head of Wealth Management at Daman Investments, Dubai.

He received several awards for his excellent performance in banking field and he is active in international events & seminars .

Recently he was guest Speaker at Bosco International conference Cyprus.

He has been a guest in several TV shows and also worked in local Tv serial “ LUSH”. He is a musician, mountain climber ( have climbed Passu Glacier 7478 M).

Entrepreneurship In in 2006 he started media advertising company in Pakistan called ZACk Service LLC, in March 2016 he stated travel & tour company in Georgia by the name of Zack Travel Group, LLC as a managing partner. Bukhari owns a mineral water company in Karachi & Lahore and an consulting firm in Dubai and Spain.

Philanthropy Bukhari has been involved in different philanthropic drives, including the construction/ repairs of mosques & church, the installation of hand pumps & solar pumps in water-scarce areas, and supporting several girls schools. Sibtain has been leading annual tree plantation drives that have planted over 200,000 trees across Pakistan.

He also participated in relief operations during floods in Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Sri Lanka.
