Shibu Chacko is a British advanced clinical practitioner in the Uk National Health Services and Head of Training and Development at Glendale Academy, a prominent health and social career training institution approved by CPD UK Skills for care and OTHM Award.[1][2][3][4] He has over two decades of experience in the Uk National Health Service and contributed significantly to Organ Donation and Transplantarion and Healthcare Education.[5][6][7]

Early life and career

Chacko was born in Koothattukulam, India in 1976 and studied at Government Model High School in his native city. He is a graduate of Mahatma Gandhi University (2000) in Nursing.[8] He worked in verious roles with NHS and during his empolyment with NHS Blood and Transplant as a Donor Transplant Coordinator, he recognised the severe shortage for organ donors from ethnic minority Communities.[9][10] His MBE recognition also his pioneering work in the Organ Donation and Medical Education.[11] In 2018 he furthered his impact by creating the world's first educational course on Organ Donation for healthcare in collaboration with st George's University of London.[12] Since 2014 he has played a crucial role in encouraging more than 3000, individuals from MBE backgrounds to register as organ donors MBE.[13][14]
