Shedd is an upcoming American computer-animated adventure comedy film directed by David Soren. The film was produced by Legendary Pictures and Annapurna Animation and distributed by Apple TV+.
Shedd is scheduled to be released on Apple TV+ on August 29, 2025.
Production

[edit]In January 2014, it was reported that former Disney and Pixar animator John Kahrs would direct for Paramount Animation an animated film titled Shedd, which was based on an original idea by Adam Goodman.
Cancellation
[edit]Announced in January 2014 with John Kahrs joining as the director and was based on an original idea by Adam Goodman.
Revival by Apple TV+, Legendary Pictures and Annapurna Animation
[edit]In September 2024, it was announced that Apple TV+ had picked up Shedd earlier in the year, and would be releasing on its streaming service in 2025. DNEG Animation was announced as the project's animation partner.
Release
[edit]Shedd is scheduled to be released in the United States on Netflix on August 29, 2025.
