History
[edit]The first Sharief Bhai restaurant was founded by Navaj A Sharief in 2017 in Koramangala, Bangalore[2]. The brand quickly gained popularity, expanding to its tenth outlet in Bangalore by 2019. By 2021, Sharief Bhai had reached 20 outlets across the city. As of December 2024, Sharief Bhai has expanded its presence to over 65 outlets in India and the UAE[3].
Dakhni cuisine
[edit]Sharief Bhai offers a variety of dishes inspired by Dakhni cuisine, a style of cooking from the Deccan region of India. The restaurant is particularly known for its Dakhni Biryani, made with Zeeraka Samba rice, a variety known for its texture and ability to absorb the flavours of the dish.[4]
