Shamsul Arefin Shakti, a doctor, writer and social worker, was born in 1990s. He is Bangladeshi and well known to for his writings questioning Modernism, Secularism and Feminism.
Shakti was born in a pious family. He studied in Jhenaidah Cadet College and then Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College. He was the Joint General Secretary of the Executive Committee of Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Chhatra League in season 2012-2013.He completed his MBBS there.
