Shamon Brown Jr. (born July 17, 2004) is a rising young actor best known as “Papa” on Showtime's long-running series, The Chi.

Brown began his acting career at age five, performing in Chicago theater productions. After appearing in commercials, music videos, and voice-over work, Brown landed a guest-starring role in the NBC series, Chicago Fire. In 2018, Brown was cast by creator Lena Waithe in The Chi (2018-2023), in which he appeared in nearly 50 episodes.

Brown had his big screen debut in the co-lead voice role of Michelangelo in Nickelodeon Animation Studios' reboot of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem (2023), and with Brown co-starring with fellow Turtles, Micah Abbey (Donatello), Nicholas Cantu (Leonardo) , Brady Noon (Raphael), and Ayo Edebiri, Maya Rudolph, John Cena, and Seth Rogen.
