Shahjahan Bahini (Mostly known as Force of Captain Shahjahan)[a] was a sub-sector in the Bangladesh Liberation War. This force was established by Captain Shahjahan.[1][2][3][unreliable source?]
Formation and merger
[edit]In the Bangladesh Liberation War, When Captain Shahjahan established his sub-sector in southwestern Bangladesh, the Gafur Bahini merged with this force. Later on, this force became larger and became known as the Force of Captain Shahjahan.[1][2][3][unreliable source?]
Military engagements
[edit]This force fought Pakistani troops in many parts of southwestern Bangladesh and conducted several operations coordinating with other Bangladeshi militias. Captain Shahjahan helped the Kuddus Bahini by giving them arms, ammunition support and military guidance including the launching of military operations.[1][better source needed]
