Shahar Jacob is an Israeli businessman, social media influencer, and entrepreneur, known as the founder and CEO of “Wegrow,” a digital marketing platform that developed unique technology to support businesses and brands on social media. Jacob, who has a substantial following on social media, is active in marketing and business development and invests in various ventures.

In 2018, Jacob founded the swimwear brand Balicea (formerly known as Beachesbomb), identifying a business opportunity within the women’s swimwear market. Despite being a male entrepreneur, Jacob recognized the high profitability and demand in this sector, aiming to cater to a diverse international customer base. Balicea became known for its modern and elegant designs, successfully attracting influencers and fashion figures globally and establishing a strong presence in the international market. In 2020, he founded “Wegrow,” which developed technological tools for promoting businesses on social media.The marketing technology developed by Wegrow was the first of its kind in Israel. Under Jacob’s leadership, “Wegrow” became known for its comprehensive digital marketing solutions, significantly contributing to the growth of various brands in both local and international markets.

While pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in marketing at Ono Academic College, Jacob was appointed as the CMO at a natural cosmetics company. In this role, he led strategic initiatives that resulted in a notable increase in market share and revenue. Jacob successfully completed his studies in 2023.

Jacob has been recognized for his impact on the digital marketing landscape and has been featured in various industry publications for his innovative approaches to online marketing. During the “Iron Wall” conflict in 2024, he initiated a campaign utilizing “Wegrow’s” technological tools to combat anti-Semitism online, highlighting the company’s commitment to social responsibility and community engagement.

In early 2024, Jacob began to engage in the fintech sector while continuing to develop independent activities with “Wegrow.” He remains active in business initiatives in Israel and Europe, focusing on expanding operations in international markets and exploring new investment opportunities in emerging technologies.
