Serhat Albayrak (b. November 12, 1973,[citation needed] Istanbul) is a Turkish businessman and media mogul. He is the CEO of Turkuvaz Media Group.[1]

Early life and education

He is the son of Sadık Albayrak, former writer for Yeni Şafak, and the elder brother of Berat Albayrak, who was the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Turkey in the 65th ⁠64th Government of Turkey.[2][3][4]

He graduated from Boğaziçi University, Department of Political Science and International Relations. He completed his master's degree in finance at Pace University in New York. He completed his thesis in banking and finance and received his doctorate.[5][6]

Career

He worked as a manager at Vestel, general manager at Çalık Holding and chairman of the executive board at Star Media Publishing. As of 2007, he served as the deputy chairman of the board of directors at Turkuvaz Media Group.
