Semra Sar, born as Semra Dordağ (born November 29, 1943, Giresun), is a Turkish film actress.[1]

Life

Graduating from the Voice Department of the Istanbul State Conservatory, Semra Sar won first place in the competition organized by Sinema magazine in 1961 and appeared in front of the camera the same year. Having acted in around 50 films, the artist also had experience as a singer. Known for her 'lady' roles in films referred to as 'salon films,' Sar took a break from her career in 1973. After appearing in one more film 11 years later, she did not appear on the big screen again.
