Sarswoti Gurung (born 16 July 1976) is a Nepali politician currently serving as a member of the Gandaki Province Parliament. She assumed office on 2 January 2023 as a representative of the Nepali Congress party.
Sarswoti Gurung was born in Syangja, Nepal.
Gurung began her political journey as a dedicated member of the Nepali Congress, one of Nepal's leading political parties. She gained recognition for her active participation in local governance and social development initiatives. She ran for the depurt mayor position in 2017 for Nepali congress. In 2023, she was elected as a member of the Gandaki Province Parliament, representing her constituency with a focus on social welfare, economic development, and women's empowerment.
As a parliament member, Gurung has advocated for policies promoting education, infrastructure development, and women’s participation in leadership. Her legislative work highlights her commitment to improving the lives of rural communities in Syangja and the broader Gandaki Province.
