The film was released 7 December 2018 and received positive reviews from critic 123 Telugu critic wrote that "Director Santhossh Jagarlapudi does an ok job in his debut.[1] He chooses a very familiar story and also runs it on a predictable setup. However, he manages to maintain the intrigue factor in the second half with some interesting twists."[2].After making his debuted project he collaborated with Naga Shaurya[3]Lakshya film was released on 10 December 2021.[4][5].His upcoming film is collaboration is with Sundeep Kishan[6][7]
