Sander is a prominent village located in the Patan district of Gujarat, India. It is part of the Sin-5 Gam Leuva Patidar community, which also includes nearby villages such as Balisana, Manund, Valam, and Bhandu. Sander is well-known for its prosperous agricultural economy and is recognized as a wealthy village. The village has a strong connection to its cultural heritage, particularly through its devotion to Sanderi Mata, the Kuldevi of the Patidar community. The Sanderi Mata temple is one of the oldest and largest temples in the region, attracting devotees from various parts.

In terms of demographics, Sander has a population of around 4,940 people, with a literacy rate significantly higher than the state average at 93.91%. Agriculture remains a primary occupation for the villagers, with a significant portion working as cultivators or agricultural laborers.
