Hewa Alankarage Dharmawansha (born 21 July 1976), popularly known by his stage name Saman Alankara.[1], is a Sri Lankan actor and film producer. He entered to tele screen in Adhiwegayen Awith produced by himself in 2012[2]. He started his acting career from the tele screen[3] and expanded to Theatre and films as wel[4]l[5]
Personal life
[edit]Saman Alankara was born on 21st july 1976. He is having two brothers & one sister. His Mother was Kusumawathi & Father was Hewa Alankarage Andrayas. Saman married Airangani Rajapaksha and they are having a daugher Kavindya Alankara.
Career
[edit]Saman was attached with construction field in his own construction company called “Salaru Associates” from 2021 to present[6]. Mean while he entered to acting life in Adhiwegayen Awith, produced by himself. In 2015 he started his own film production called “Alankara Films”[7]. The Film “Nim Him” Directed by Michelle Fonseka, was the first film production through Alankara Films. Saman produced his first stage drama “Api Dangakariyo” in 2022 [8] & he was playing main role there.
Saman is a member of Lions Club in Horana [9] & currently he manages both his construction business & production house.
