Saleh al-Hamad (born 1989) is a Saudi Arabian writer and academic. [1]. He studied literature at King Abdulaziz University and the University of California, and now teaches at his alma mater King Abdulaziz University. [2]
His debut novel Eye of the Kite (2023) was nominated for the Arabic Booker Prize. [3] [4]. His TV adaptation of the same book has won best project award for a tv series at Red Sea International Film Festival [5] [6].
