SCP secret laboratory (also known as scp secret lab and scp sl) is a first person multiplayer horror first person shooter videogame developed by a Norwegian game company Northwood and led by Hubert Mozska. (editor's note, i probably got his name wrong. Copy it from His YouTube channel's name) The game originally was inspired by SCP - containment breach. However after a series of game design decisions happening around the megapatch and scopophobia update. The game changed styles to resemble a more standalone product.
Gameplay
[edit]Players are put in one of 3 teams. Foundation, chaos insurgency, and SCPs. The goal of both the chaos insiurgency and foundation teams are to establish control of the site by killing everyone in the other two teams. The SCP team has the same goals. But is compromised of a minimum of maximum of 4 players on a server with default settings. All but SCP teams have civilians which give "respawn tickets" a resource given out by the game for completing objectives such as picking up firearms, entering new zones or picking up scp objects. SCP team cannot earn respawn tickets.
After a set amount of time, determined to be around 5 minutes, decreased by the amount of respawn tickets the team has a respawn wave will occur. During this wave either foundation or chaos insurgency forces will arrive to the facility, their arrival (since the 14.0 update) will be announced by the PA system. When both teams run out of respawn waves. A dead man's switch event happens where every zone but surface gets wiped and becomes inaccessible to players. As well as killing anyone inside the site 02.
Part of the gameplay of scp secret laboratory surrounds the escaped SCP subjects these subjects are: SCP 939: a bipedal red endothermic predator with poor eyesight but high sensitivity to noises that Using a cloud of amnestic gas and ability to mimick sounds including human voices. Can hunt humans down with high effectiveness. (Author's note: I couldn't end the sentence properly. SCP 106: a tall, rotting humanoid with an appearance of an elderly human, that can move trough doors and other solid surfaces with ease. When attacking a player a second hit sends them to his "pocket dimension" where the player's health will rapidly drain and they will be forced to choose a path, the paths have a 2 in 8 chance of leading out of the pocket dimension or killing the player. Scp 049: a medieval plague doctor who has the ability to cause cardiac arrest in humans he touches. After death corpses can be revived and become instances of scp 049-2 which can attack player with their hands. But not much else. SCP 079: an old exidy sorcerer microcomputer with an ai operating from inside of it. Using the various systems of site-02 he can cut off ways for the humans. However, he can be recontained if 3 backup generators are Turned on and the overcharge sequence is activated. SCP 173: a stone statue that can move when unobserved. When it's close enough to a human target it snaps the neck of the victim.
(Author's note: very raw and bad version of the document. Gonna fill it up later, or someone else will)
