On April 11, 2024, CBS reversed the seventh season of S.W.A.T. as the final, and renewed the series for an eighth season.[2]
Casting[edit]
On June 4, 2024, it was announced that Rochelle Aytes, who played Nichelle Carmichael, would not be returning for the eighth season.[3]
