On Februrary 11, 2021, Nintendo sued SuperMarioLogan (SML) and Logan Thirtyacre for using their characters without permission. SML was a YouTube channel that creates parody videos of popular Nintendo characters, such as Mario and Luigi. Logan Thirtyacre was the creator of SuperMarioLogan (SML). Nintendo pulled SML videos on YouTube and gave SML a full copyright strike.[1] On July 8, 2021, SML was terminated from YouTube due to a copyright claim by Nintendo.
