Subhanverdiyev Eldar Ziyaddin oglu Prominent public and political figure, served as the Head of the Quba District Executive Power in 1992–1993..[1]

Early Life and Education

Eldar Ziyaddin oglu Sübhanverdiyev was born on October 8, 1959, in Timiryazev settlement, Quba district. From 1966 to 1976, he studied at Narimanovka village secondary school in Quba district. During his school years, he actively participated in public activities and represented his school in republican biology subject Olympiads. After successfully graduating from secondary school in 1976, he enrolled in the Geography-Biology Faculty of the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University (then known as Azerbaijan State Pedagogical Institute) and graduated successfully in 1981.

In 1993, he pursued a degree in Public Administration at the Baku Institute of Social Management and Political Science (now the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Azerbaijan). During his higher education years, he was actively engaged in scientific research and public activities.

Professional and Military Service

From 1981 to 1982, he worked as a teacher at Yelenovka (now Hacihuseynli) village secondary school in Quba district. Between 1982 and 1984, he voluntarily served in the Soviet Army. During his military service, the combat readiness of the unit he led was highly rated, and his contributions were highlighted in the program "I Serve the Soviet Union" on Soviet Central Television.

Public and State Activities

In 1984, Eldar Sübhanverdiyev was appointed Deputy Director for Educational Affairs at Narimanovka village secondary school. From 1988 to 1992, he actively participated in the national liberation movement and played a key role in establishing the Quba district branch of the Azerbaijan Popular Front (AXC). In 1992, he was elected as a deputy to the Quba District Soviet and was later appointed as the Head of the Quba District Executive Power in September of the same year by a decree of President Abulfaz Elchibey[2]

During his leadership in Quba district, he made significant contributions to solving the population's problems and supporting the supply of the newly emerging national army. He also played an active role in combating separatism in the northern region. Subsequent Activities

After being relieved of his position in 1993, Eldar Sübhanverdiyev continued his public and political activities. In 1998, he was appointed as the Head of the Quba district branch of the Whole Azerbaijan Unity (BAB) by a decree of Abulfaz Elchibey. He was also actively involved in protecting citizens' rights during the land reform process in the Quba district.

Activities Related to Khinalug

In 1999, Eldar Sübhanverdiyev founded a public organization named the "Khinalug Cultural Center" and, in 2001, created a 49-letter alphabet for the Khinalug language. He also participated in the establishment of the Khinalug Historical-Ethnographic Museum.

Family

Eldar Sübhanverdiyev is married and has three children. His wife, Yegana Sübhanverdiyeva, is a teacher at Alekseyevka village secondary school and has been awarded the title "Honored Education Worker of the Republic."

His eldest daughter has a higher education degree in pharmacy, his son holds degrees in public administration and business organization, and his youngest daughter is pursuing studies in the field of information technology (IT) and is currently continuing her education in this field.
