Running a train refers to both a homosexual and bisexual sex position. The homosexual position is when a group of three or more men are lined up and have anal sex with the man in front of them. The bisexual position is the same except a woman is at the front on the “train” instead of another man.
Methods[edit]
There are multiple ways to run a train. One method is for all people in the train to stay standing. One person will stand at the very front and the rest of the group will all have sex with each other standing. Another method involves all the members of the group to lay down sideways similar to spooning but with more people. Another common method is similar to the standing method but instead has the person in the front on their hands and knees similar to doggy style. One other method is for all the participants to stack on top of each other similar to a doggy pile.
Pornography Industry[edit]
The pornography industry has many videos of people running trains, especially among gay pornography. It is one of the most common threesome sex positions among gay men with many having fetishes to have sex in the position.
Rape Culture[edit]
Running trains is common in gang and rape culture. Many people try to feel cool in gang culture by joining in on people who are running trains on women. It is also very common for people to run trains on women without consent. This bad practice is one thing that brings many people into thinking it is ok to have sex with women without consent.[1]
