Rotational is a language and a writing system based on rotations of symbols. The language is composed of null, vowels and consonants symbols. The null is a square that symbolize either 'h' or nothing, wovels 'a','e','i','u' are generated by an arc that rotates while it uses a circle for 'o'. There are three consonant symbols, a line (-), an x (x) and an o (o) that are used to generate particles and anti-particles.
Particles are generated by placing one or more consonant symbols on a null or a vowel. The position of the consonant symbol changes how to read the particle and there are a total of 5 positions: left (1), top (2), center (3), bottom (4), right (5). On each of this positions can be placed n different consonant symbols and they read as follow:
- From top to bottom for left, center and right position symbols
- From left to right for top and bottom position symbolsThe null or wovel acts as a matrix composed of three coloumn vectors col(left symbols), col(top symbols, center symbols, bottom symbols), col(right symbols).
When a consonant symbol is placed on a null it can be simplified by removing two or more edges of the null. It usually keep only one or two segments:
- segments 1 and 4 if there are only symbols on positions 1 or 4 only
- segment 1 if there are symbols on position 3 only
- segments 2 and 5 if there are only symbols on position 2 or 5 only
A particle is said to be conjugated if it has one or more consonant symbols on it. Anti particles are conjugated nulls followed by a non conjugated vowel or null. Anti particles are said to be anti conjugated and some of them change pronunciation. In the following table anti conjugation pronunciation that coincide with its counter particle is colored in grey.
The pronunciation of particles is represented in the following image in square brackets while for anti particles it is represented in circular brackets and it has to be added before the null or the vowel it is conjugate with. Using the IPA:
Rotational language is useful because you can transform particles and anti particles with rotations. A table of rotations is reported below:
Roational is a language other than a writing system, it means that each particles and each anti particles has a meaning called root. Each root has an anti root that is found rotating the particle by 180° and they are usually opposites.
