Robinson Mutua Mutava, commonly known as Mutua Mutava, is a Kenyan businessman, Certified Public Accountant professional and corporate executive who was, in July 2024, promoted to be the chief executive officer (CEO), at Betika.[1][2] Before his current position, he worked as the head of finance at Betika, based in Nairobi, Kenya. He also previously served as a Deputy managing director of Betika as well as Managing director at same company betika.[3][4]

Background and Education

Born in Machakos County, he pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounts and Finance at KCA University in Nairobi, Kenya. He furthered his education with a Master of Taxation degree from Moi University in Kenya, graduating in 2019. He also holds a Certified Public Accountant license in Kenya(CPA).[5]

He is the Chief Executive Officer and founder of Kajiado Teacher Training College (KTTC) in Kitengela, established in 2018. The college offers courses such as the Diploma in Early Childhood Teacher Education (DECTE), Diploma in Primary Teacher Education (DPTE), and various Computer and Vocational courses. He is also the CEO and founder of Kitengela Royal School Limited for pre-primary and primary education, established in January 2022, located in Kitengela, Kajiado County.
