Robert Fisher (born c. 1989) is an American criminal who gained national attention for the rape and murder of 3-year-old Josefina Catherine Cunningham in Rensselaer, New York.

The crime occurred between July 6 and July 7, 2023, at the Cunningham family home, located near Broadway and Tracy Street in Rensselaer. She was pronounced dead shortly after being transported to Albany Medical Center. Following an extensive investigation, it was determined that Fisher had raped and murdered the child during the night​.

Fisher was indicted three weeks after the incident. On July 9, 2024, he pleaded guilty to charges of second-degree murder and first-degree rape in Rensselaer County Court. He is scheduled to be sentenced on August 6, 2024​.
