Rekib Ahmed is an award-winning sustainability expert associated with Dubai International Airport at present.[1]

Career

Before joining Dubai International Airport, he was associated with Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi.[2]

In 2022, Ahmed was awarded ACI Asia Pacific Young Executive Award for his research paper “Adapting Airports to a Changing Climate in the Region”.[1] Rekib completed his schooling in Dalgaon in Assam before studying at B Borooah College in Guwahati and later moving to Dehradun to study Energy Studies at UPES. He completed his M Tech in Energy and Environment from IIT Delhi.[3]
