Ran Gorenstein is a Belgian diamondman who holds the Guinness World Record for the Enigma.[1].

The Enigma (containing 55 facets and weighing in at 555.55 carats) which is the largest polished diamond in the world (up to date) was commissioned and inspired by Ran Gorenstein[2][3]. He owned the Enigma from 2004 until 2022 where the diamond was sold for £3.16 million by Sotheby's to an undisclosed buyer[4], but cryptocurrency entrepreneur Richard Heart revealed that he was the buyer.

Serves as President of RGM Global ventures & Indexes which develops global indices and correlates to the USDE-100 index[5], which is the only diamond index in the world with BMR (Benchmark Regulation)[6]
