Pinchas Taylor (born July 16, 1984) is an American rabbi, best-selling author, public speaker, and “Celebrity Life Coach” recognized for his work in spreading Jewish wisdom to a large and diverse audience, outside of the Jewish world.

He is the Director of the American Faith Coalition, an organization dedicated to promoting Hebrew Bible values and spirituality to people of all faith backgrounds. Early Life and Education

Taylor was born and raised in South Florda and demonstrated a deep interest in theology, history, and science from a young age. He decided at age 15 to pursue a career as a rabbi. He completed his Religious Studies degree at the Rabbinical College of America in New Jersey and pursued graduate rabbinic studies in Los Angeles, California. After his rabbinic studies he received a certificate in Wellness Counseling from Cornell University. His education provided a foundation for his unique approach to teaching and coaching, emphasizing both classical Jewish thought and contemporary personal development.

Early Career

In 2010, Taylor became the Director of Adult Education and Outreach at the Chabad of Plantation. In conjunction with this appointment, in 2012 Taylor also became the Jewish chaplain for VITAS Healthcare in Broward and Dade counties, and an adjunct lecturer at the Chaya Aydel Seminary in Hallandale Beach.

Throughout this time Taylor developed a reputation as an erudite and inspirational young scholar, and became a sought after speaker, featured at prominent events like the National Jewish Retreat, and recordings of his talks archived on the Chabad website, Chabad.org, and the Jewish Learning Institute’s TorahCafe.com. Taylor was also appointed to be on the Faith Advisory Board for the Governor of Florida.

Current Work and Outreach

Rabbi Taylor is known for his role as the “Celebrity Life Coach,” helping high-profile clients, including actors, athletes, and other public figures, with personal growth rooted in spiritual principles. He is a member of the American Counseling Association, and the Association for Conflict Resolution, as well as the Society for Personality and Social Psychology. His expertise is sought after by clients facing personal and spiritual challenges. Taylor’s guidance integrates traditional Jewish teachings with modern techniques, making him a distinctive figure in the fields of spiritual counseling and life coaching.

In 2018, based on his background and inspired by the call of the Lubavitcher Rebbe to teach Torah values even outside of the Jewish world, Taylor founded “The Ark,” a successful faith-based study and coaching program.

“The Ark” Online Learning Program would blossom into an entire organization, the American Faith Coalition (AFC), which seeks to help people begin or enhance their relationship with God. The teachings are grounded in Jewish spiritual wisdom, and are open to, and enthusiastically embraced by, many people outside of the Jewish world. The organization’s vision is to use speaking engagements, various educational resources, and media appearances to promote Torah values as a “light unto the nations.”

The coalition’s mission resonates particularly with individuals who come from Christian backgrounds, who seek insights from Jewish teachings. The AFC hosts lectures, daily study sessions, and personal coaching designed to make Jewish ethics and spirituality accessible to a non-Jewish audience. Many of the services provided are virtual, opening the opportunity to people in all geographical locations, but there are also in-person chapters around the country that feed the spiritual needs in a local community. One of the coalition’s revolutionary events, Shabbat Across the States, invites participants from all faith backgrounds to experience traditional Jewish Shabbat prayers and meals, as there is no greater promoting of Torah then when non-Jews see Torah being lived.
