Mr Fletcher comes back for Meg just as a Molotov cocktail is thrown at her, dragging Meg out of the building just as the women storm reception. When the women attempt to escape, the officers are armed, firing into the air, causing Hazel to trip and hurt her arm. Mr Faulkner and Miss Conroy split up and hide. Meg and Mr Fletcher realize that Mr Faulkner and Miss Conroy are still inside. In Reception, Sandy calls the press, then sees a switchboard light indicating the staff room phone is in use, hearing Mr Faulkner's voice before disconnecting the call. By the time they get there, he has hidden in the ceiling. The women begin to search for Mr Faulkner. Hazel and Phyllis fail to find Miss Conroy hiding in the laundry room. Erica and Inspector Thorne arrive upon the scene. The prison can't be stormed with two officers unaccounted for. Mr Faulkner escapes from the staffroom. In hospital, Bea hears news of the riot on the TV. Mrs Powell arrives, Meg has been sent home. Mrs Davidson asks the women to produce their demands, which Sandy agrees to put together. She lays down the law by punching Margo. Lizzie and Mouse think there's no point to the riot. Bea, meanwhile, wants to phone the prison and speak to Mrs Davidson. Mr Douglas won't allow the call through. Margo discovers Mr Faulkner, he knocks her over, runs into Mrs Davidson's office and uses the phone to let the police know he and Miss Conroy are safe, but not for much longer. Kate sees the switchboard light up and recommends looking for Steve in the Governor's office. Ted Douglas decides it's time to storm the prison. The women trap Steve in the office, throw him on the desk and strip him, laughing. |
