Comment: While this topic appears to be notable, the current state of the article does not present any information specific to Niger. The article appears to only provide the dictionary definition of pollution. Garsh (talk) 01:14, 9 July 2024 (UTC)

When hazardous elements or energy are released into the environment and produce negative changes, it is referred to as pollution^[1]. These "pollutants" can be energy-related things like heat or loud noises, or they can be physical things like chemicals or garbage. Pollution can have a negative impact on human health and upset ecosystems' natural equilibrium.^[2]
