Pikiran Publik is a leading digital news media platform that is a place to read, create and share various news and information. Founded in February 2019^[1], Pikiran Publik was built as the first media platform in Indonesia to implement technology-based journalism that allows interaction for all its users.

There are two main pillars for the development of the Pikiran Publik. First, excellence in journalism, namely the creation of credible content by journalists who have all been certified by the Press Council. Second, excellence in technology, namely by distributing quality content to the right people and at the right time through Personalization Algorithm Technology (PAT).

Throughout its journey, Pikiran Publik continues to make many innovations. In 2022, Warta Tangsel^[2] is recognized by the Pikiran Publik^[3] as a partnership^[4] to expand to the first regional area in South Tangerang City.

History

Public Mind was founded by Muhammad Miko Prayoga, Farhan Ramadhan Hidayat. who is a pioneer of digital media in Indonesia. In 2019, they initiated the presence of a new media platform that could revolutionize digital media.

This idea was realized through the creation of an open, collaborative^[5] and impactful digital media platform. They called it Pikiran Publik, which means public thought. In January 2022, Public Mind finally officially launched. When it first appeared to the public, Pikiran Publik already had more than 25 national figures who joined as content creators.
