Pieces of powder is a indie cartoon made by Kou (Ekouku). The story follows a girl called Powder, a teenager who deals with anxieties and insecurities that affects her relationships. It talks about Powder learning how to accept herself.
The first episode was released the 28th of July 2024, but it was announced the 16th of February 2024[1]
The series is expected to have at least 9 episodes in 1 season, but if the kickstarter reaches 30.000$ season 2 would be fully founded an released.
Characters
[edit]- Powder[2]: Voiced by Ameera Lemieux. Powder is the protagonist. She struggles with anxieties and insecurities, but she is learning how to accept herself
- Marcy[3]: Voiced by Ivy Moody. She is in the friend group and is Powder's best friend. She just moved to the neighborhood.
- Megan[4]: Voiced by Karenna Foley. She is in the friend group and is Powder's ex-best friend. She gave the nickname Powder to her.
- Lucas[5]: Voiced by Joshua Rabira. He is in the friend group. He is sporty and cares more about sports than grades. He is romantically atracted in Marcy.
- Gwen[6]: Voiced by Annie Lake. She is in the friend group. She is introvert and perfectionist, she has a fear with school buses.
- Kyler[7]: Voiced by Ellis Bertrell. He is in the friend group. He always struggled fitting in and he finds comfort if Lucas is by his side .
