- Comment: No change since last decline. Please make changes between draft submission, as if you don't, the draft could be rejected completely with no option to resubmit. JML1148 (Talk | Contribs) 07:27, 6 May 2023 (UTC)
- Comment: The way the information is supported is skewed. We do not need 15 sources (!) to verify that
"Peter Meso appeared as a guest"
on some media. We do, however, need at least one reliable published source to verify that"Peter Meso is Jewish"
(private personal information), or that he"won the first prize in the Czech National Composition Contest for young composers"
(significant claim). Please ensure that all material statements, anything potentially contentious, and all private personal and family details are clearly supported by inline citations to reliable published sources. Meanwhile, please do not REFBOMB unnecessarily. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 19:54, 12 December 2022 (UTC)
- Comment: Education and early life for example still contain large chunks of unsourced text. All statements need to be sourced. Greenman (talk) 19:52, 27 June 2022 (UTC)
- Comment: Large portion of this submission is unsourced. Huge name droppings in one of the sections must be supported by reliable sources. Please remove references from Spotify. Hitro talk 07:11, 27 February 2022 (UTC)

Peter Meso (also Peter Mešo) is a Slovak born pianist, composer, arranger, writer and street performer. He is known for creating and performing concert piano versions of the world's famous film soundtracks.
Early life
[edit]Meso was born in Slovakia in 1985. His father was a theatre director. He is of Jewish origin, with half Polish and partly French background.[1]
Education
[edit]In his early years, Meso became one of the laureates of the national Slovak Composition Contest for young composers "Talent Revúca".[2] On December 13, 2002, his composition Concertino Bar-Baroque for chamber orchestra won the first prize in the third category of the Czech national Composition Contest "Generace" for young composers organized annually since 1975 by AHUV with the cooperation of Janáčkův Máj and Český rozhlas Ostrava.[3] Members of the jury of the competition were Czech renown composers such as Milan Báchorek, Hanuš Bartoň, Svatopluk Havelka, Alois Piňos and Vít Zouhar.

[14][15][16]
Artistic approach
[edit]Meso is considered to be a crossover, classically trained musician with a repertory of classical, rock, jazz, pop and film music as well as his own compositions and transcriptions.
He arranged and performed music of many renown film composers for concert grand piano.[17] One of his piano semi-recitals took place at the New Stage of National Theatre of Prague accompanied by a ballet performance.[18]

Druhá část programu začala v podobném duchu jako ta první – poté, co si publikum opět vyslechlo další várku Mešových transkripcí, tentokrát filmové hudby J. Williamse, přišel na řadu opět tanec, tentokráte již hojněji zastoupený současnou autorskou tvorbou.
