Submission declined on 19 September 2024 by KylieTastic (talk). This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). Pere de Castellet i d'Icart was the Bishop of Urgell and co-prince of Andorra.[1]
He was a defender of the Catholic faith. He acted against the Huguenots who were entering Catalonia through Urgell. This prevented him from attending the Council of Trent in Catalonia.[2]
In 1566, he commissioned the Dominican Pere Martir Coma to publish a widely circulated counter-reformist manual.
