Pedro David Espinoza (born October 3, 1994) is a Peruvian American entrepreneur and philanthropist known for his contributions to the technology sector and his efforts in social development.[1]

Early Life and Education

Espinoza was born in Lima, Peru. He completed his secondary education at The American School of Lima before attending the University of California, Berkeley, where he earned a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Technology Entrepreneurship. Espinoza continued his studies at Stanford University, obtaining a certificate in International Management with a focus on Management Science & Engineering. Recently in 2023, Espinoza finished the Harvard Business Analytics Program with a focus on artificial intelligence.[2]

Career

Espinoza began his career in the tech industry in 2014 while attending Stanford University. He specialized in indexing tax forms in the U.S. for non profit organizations, and gained recognition for its innovative approach to empower companies to donate smarter. His efforts expanded rapidly to numerous countries and was acquired in 2018.[3]

In 2018, Espinoza founded an initiative aimed at improving access to technology and education in underprivileged communities across Latin America. The organization has since impacted over 3,000 individuals by providing 10 libraries, computer labs, 9 greenhouses, and 10,000 reforested trees.[4]
