Paul Morton is a British politician and businessman who first stood for election in May 2024 for the Reform UK party in the constituency of North East Hampshire.
He gained 12% of the vote, 6,673 coming in third place to Alex Brewer who was elected as MP to the area[1]He's a Scot, living in Hampshire who is married to a naturalised American immigrant and father of two young children.[2]
Morton's election campaign was short, having decided to run when the election was called. He raised over £1,000 for his campaign.
He says he joined the Reform party "because the party is made up of people who have professional skills, capabilities and knowledge of the real world and desire and the ability to deliver for the country."[3]
Morton runs a leadership training business for sales managers called the Practical Leadership Academy.[4]
