The Partners Bulgaria Foundation

The Partners Bulgaria Foundation is an independent, non-governmental, non-profit organisation (NGO) registered in 1998, Sofia, Bulgaria. Its founder and director is Dr. Daniela Kolarova.

History

Partners Bulgaria Foundation is the Bulgarian center of the international network Partners for Democratic Change. In 2016 the Partners for Democratic Change changed its name to PartnersNetwork and the Partners Bulgaria Foundation is one of its members.

Mission

The mission of the Partners Bulgaria Foundation is to support the process of democratic development in Bulgaria by assisting institutions, non-governmental organizations and specialists to improve policies and practices in the fields of justice, social care, child protection, education, economic development and preserving the environment.

Partners

The Foundation has over 50 governmental, business and NGO partners in Bulgaria and over the world. The Foundation has proven expertise in conflict resolution and mediation; social inclusion; peace building and international development; child rights and child protection and education in citizenship and human rights.

Educational trainings, programs and centers

The Foundation is certified with ISO 9001:2015 - the international standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system (QMS). It maintains its own educational training and programs for increasing the qualifications of pedagogical specialists, approved by the Bulgarian Ministry of Education and Science. Since 2007 the Partners Bulgaria Foundation presents a professional mediators training program approved by the Bulgarian Ministry of Justice.

Publications

The Foundation provides its own Toolkits, hadbooks and publications dedicated to fighting against racism and discrimination, populism, radicalisation and its relation to EDC work with young people, to the young people and human rights, conflict management in primary, middle and high school, development of kid's skills and etc.
