p(doom) is an Australian independent record label founded by King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard in 2024. The name is a reference to the artificial intelligence concept of P(doom).

History

King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard formed the record label KGLW in 2020 to release their music exclusively. In 2024, they created p(doom) and folded KGLW into it in order to release other artists' music in addition to their own.^[1]^[2] The label's initial roster consisted of King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard and the band members' other projects.

In October 2024, it was announced that fellow Australian rock band Babe Rainbow would be joining p(doom)^[3], marking the first addition to the label's roster that does not feature any members of King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard.
