- Comment: Fails WP:NJOURNAL - the Oz Journal website is a primary source and therefore not independent. The Architectural Journal reference doesn't mention Oz Journal. Dan arndt (talk) 05:21, 10 October 2024 (UTC)

Oz is the Journal of the College of Architecture, Planning and Design at Kansas State University. Published annually since 1979,[1] it is one of the oldest student-edited journals in the United States published by a school of architecture. Since its founding Oz has published 46 volumes.
Oz is dedicated to the exploration of ideas in design through the publication of diverse responses to theoretical issues. Oz has received accolades and recognitions including the first Douglas Haskell Award for Student Journalism in 1989, and another in 2002, from AIA New York.[2]
History
[edit]The idea to launch Oz was formulated in 1978 by a group of students, faculty member David Howard Bell, and alumnus Charles Linn.[3] The intent of the journal was to expose students to a greater range of critical architectural thought and discourse.
