Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF) www.ophrd.gov.pk is a non-profit organization established in 1979 by the Government of Pakistan under the Emigration Ordinance, 1979. It operates under the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development and serves the welfare and development of overseas Pakistanis and their families.[1]
Mandate
[edit]OPF focuses on providing welfare services, educational opportunities, housing schemes, and reintegration support for returning expatriates. It also works to strengthen the bond between overseas Pakistanis and their homeland.[2]
Objectives
[edit]Facilitate welfare services for overseas Pakistanis and their families. Establish educational and housing facilities to support the diaspora. Strengthen ties between Pakistan and its overseas citizens. Advocate for the rights and interests of overseas Pakistanis globally.[3]
Key Projects
