GAMEPLAY
[edit]Based on Unreal Engine 5, [1]Operation Athena is a tactical shooter with some features based on realism, bridging the gap between MILSIM and ARCADE. In Operation Athena the player takes part as an operator of Athena Team. The player can play solo, or with up to 4 players against a global terrorist threat. Across several playable levels the player is tasked with one of three objectives. The player can choose between Bomb Threat, Elimination, and Hostage Rescue.

Player Classes
[edit]- Team Leader: The Team Leader is an important member of the squad, the team leader designates roles, outlines mission plans and coordinates team movements.
- Medic: The Medic is responsible for providing medical support to injured teammates and ensuring the squad's survivability during combat engagements. The Medic will utilize equipment to render aid to injured team members.
- Support Gunner: The Support Gunner specializes in providing suppressive fire and firepower support to the team. The Support Gunner will carry additional ammunition to reinforce the team.
- Breacher: The Breacher is tasked with gaining entry into fortified or barricaded enemy positions. The Breacher will utilize a shotgun and will also be equipped with additional explosives.
