The Open Source Protection License (OSPL, NOOSPL or Nebula One's Open Source Protection License) is a series of free software licenses aimed to allow creative works, software, and hardware to be copied, reproduced, shared, and adapted within the original creator's views^[2]. The license is strongly copyleft, meaning any work that is adapted from any works using the license will also in turn have to use an OSPL license or a combination of an OSPL license with another license^[3]

Although the license being lesser known in main-stream works, it is used predominantly in open-source game modifications, such as Minecraft Mods^[4]. The license aims for an artist-focused ethical approach^[5] instead of CC and GNU GPL.
