Omega-R is an international IT company specializing in digital solutions, including web development, mobile application development and digital marketing services. Founded in 2011.^[1] by Alex Rybakov^[2], the company provides a full development cycle, from analytics and design to testing and release. Omega has office in Los Angeles.

Founder

The company was founded by Alex Rybakov^[3]. Alex Rybakov has worked in various roles since 2008. Alex began their career at iSpring Solutions as a Project Manager in 2008. In 2011, they became the Founder & Ceo of Omega-R, Inc.

Alex Rybakov attended Mari State Technical University (MarSTU) from 1999 to 2008, where they studied Computer Programming.

History

Omega was founded in Yoshkar-Ola on July 29, 2011, by Alexey Rybakov. In 2012 the company developed its first mobile application for the international market, partnering with the cosmetics company Clinique. By 2014, Omega opened its first office in New York, establishing a presence in the U.S. market.

By 2015 Omega's portfolio had grown to over 100 projects, and by 2016 the company had expanded its team to 50 employees. In 2017 Omega began a large-scale IT project with the ^[6], involving the development of an Android application^[7] for educational lectures and a Roku TV channel for curated content. The same year, Omega expanded its expertise to include IoT solutions, working with Dexen Industries, Inc. to develop an IoT application for tracking energy usage through sensor data^[8].

In 2018 the company continued to strengthen its international presence, establishing offices in Houston in 2019 and expanding its work on various projects, including the development of the Loop app^[9] for electric charging stations. In 2020 Omega completed a rebranding project for KEDOO^[10], a company focused on digital distribution for platforms such as Netflix, Amazon and YouTube.

Following significant changes in 2022 Omega fully relocated its operations to Los Angeles, with the development team now based in Estonia, marking the company’s shift from Russia to a complete focus on international markets.

Products and Services

Omega-R^[11] provides a range of services tailored to meet the needs of its clients:

Web Development: Custom websites and web applications designed to enhance user experience and functionality.
Mobile Application Development: Development of mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms.
Design: Creation of engaging and user-centric design solutions, including UI/UX design for web and mobile applications.

Omega-R has developed several notable products:

SeekMed — a telemedicine platform providing access to India's highly rated top doctors for professional and ethical medical advice at affordable cost^[12].

PEST &POED^[13] — IT tools designed to simplify the collection and analysis of statistical data for conducting ^[14] (Political, Economic, Social, and Technological) analysis in the education sector of the Federated States of Micronesia. These tools aim to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of data gathering and analysis, providing valuable insights for educational policy and decision-making processes in the region.

Drift^[15] is a mobile application designed for managing the Kinetic Sand Table, a product by HoMedics. The application provides users with controls and features to interact with and customize their Kinetic Sand Table experience. Omega-R was commissioned by HoMedics to redesign the mobile application for the Kinetic Sand Table. The project focused on enhancing the user experience and visual design of the application.

Loop^[16] — Omega-R developed an application for iOS and Android that simplifies the use of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations.

Dexen^[17] — Omega-R developed an all-in-one solution for remote monitoring of utility meters. The system includes an Android app installed on a device located within range of the meters. At set intervals, the app collects data via Bluetooth and transmits it to a server. This allows users to view real-time statistics in their personal accounts from anywhere in the world.

iproTV^[18] — Omega-R developed a diverse streaming platform tailored to user preferences. Initially, the team created an Android app focused on listening to educational lectures. Following user research, the project expanded to include a dedicated channel for Roku TV, providing users with on-demand access to educational content.

Stykovka Affiliate Program

Launched in 2017, the Stykovka Affiliate Program is designed to enhance affiliate marketing strategies through advanced tools and performance tracking. The project has been featured on FWA^[19] and Awwwards^[20].

EraChain

Released in 2018, EraChain focuses on blockchain technology and digital transactions.EraChain has been recognized on Awwwards^[21].

Live Colors App

The Live Colors app, launched in 2019, is aimed at color management and visualization for mobile devices. The app was featured on App of the Day^[22]
