Oliver Stummer (* 13th October 1974 in Graz, Austria; † 3rd December 2024 in London, UK) was an Austrian-born electronic musician, music producer and label owner. His musical output was diverse, uncompromising and highly influential to many listeners and musicians alike. Stummer was a self-declared 'Pataphysicist, which explains his toying with the absurd in many cases.
Stummer operated under the monikers Tomoroh Hidari, The Dubnihilist, Death Librarian, his Namelessness is Legion, amongst others. He ran the Ivory Bunker Recordings[1] and Dystopian Dub Discotheque[2] netlabels on Bandcamp and published on many other labels internationally, like Mahorka [3]in Bulgaria, Schematic [4] and Record Label Records[5] in the US.
Notably, Stummer was involved in the Kreuzweg Ost project and was featured in the An Anthology of Noise & Experimental Music series of compilations.
His release Depth sounding on bruitversum[6] has been reviewed by Igloo Magazine[7].
