Oklahoma Blood
This is a refreshingly simple band, preferring backyards and extension cords over stages. The format is interesting in that the drummer is also the lead singer. This is bare roots heavy metal complete with the bassist offering the visual effect of classic long hair head banging. In the late summer of 2024, Youtube algorithms began aggressively promoting this band, most notable their video "Stomping Nachos" which may have just been recorded on a cell phone, but was racking up page views regardless based on the raw nature of the talent. Guitarist plays a Line 6 4x12 half stack, this is a modeling amp known for its digital attempt to replicate much more expensive and vintage valve/tube amps, which the artist uses to full effect with excellent results, he is using no outboard effects, simply a cord between guitar and amp with arguably a very crushing distortion tone.
