Nischay Malhan (pronounced [nˈɪʃe͡ɪ məlɦaːn]; born 14 November 1995), better known as Triggered Insaan, is an Indian YouTuber, gamer, vlogger, and social media influencer. He gained recognition for his YouTube videos, particularly his reaction videos, roasts, and comedic content, known for their humor and relatability.

Early life and education

Malhan was born on 14 November 1995, in New Delhi, to Vinay and Dimple Malhan.

He completed his schooling at Lancer Convent School, Delhi. He later graduated with a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from the Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi.[2][3]

Personal life

Malhan's siblings, Abhishek Malhan and Prerna Malhan, are also YouTubers, and his mother, Dimple Malhan, is involved in content creation as well. His father, Vinay Malhan, is a businessman.[4][5]

In November 2024, he got engaged to his girlfriend, Ruchika Rathore.[6][7]

Career

After graduating, he worked in a corporate company but quit, citing a lack of interest. He then convinced his parents to support his decision to become a full-time YouTuber.

He created his first YouTube channel, "Nischay Malhan", in 2012, where he uploaded content related to computer programming concepts he learned during his college years. In July 2014, he launched his second channel, "Triggered Insaan," which became his main platform. There, he began posting reaction videos, roasts, commentary, and humorous vlogs, quickly gaining popularity. In 2017, he started his third channel, "Live Insaan," dedicated to gaming streams and videos.

He has appeared in various shows. He featured in Bhuvan Bam's Dhindora.[8] He was also a mentor on Amazon miniTV's gaming reality show Playground. He also appeared on Prime Video's reality show and documentary Gaming Insaan, which was based on his journey to becoming a pro player.[9]

In 2024, Nischay was nominated for and won the 'Gaming Creator Award' at the National Creators Award ceremony, presented by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.[10][11]
