Nediyaandi is a natural lake situated in the Ernakulam district of Kerala, south India. The location is 10.092006,76.372205 situated on the left of AM road ,4KM from Aluva. The distance from the lake to Petiyar river is 3.5KM. The length of the lake area is 500 meters and width 250 meters in most areas. This is a dying lake with majority of its area has become marsh and occupied by a special kind of bush with yellow flowers. There are three or four small lakes separated by narrow land areas here. A road passes through the centre of the lake, which has caused a drastic change to its geography by reducing the lake area and increasing the marsh land. This place is frequented by anglers as these small lakes are home to native fish varieties. The lake area has been shrinking day by day as a result of man made construction ac tivities.
