Nawmai the Wancho Warrior is an upcoming Indian action-drama film written, produced, and directed by Jovi Wangjin Wangsa. The film is set to release in 2025 and will be released in Wancho and Hindi languages.
Production
Nawmai the Wancho Warrior is produced by Kanu Film Production, an Indian film production company based in Arunachal Pradesh. The film is directed by Jovi Wangjin Wangsa, who has also written the story and screenplay. Papu Ali and Ripunjoy Nirmolia have handled the cinematography, while Kapil Das and Hirokjyoti Likson have worked on the film's cinematography. Dhruba Kalita has edited the film, and the music is composed by Sidhant Sagar.
Plot
Nawmai the Wancho Warrior is a traditional war movie from the Wancho tribe of Arunachal Pradesh, North East India. The story revolves around two enemy villages that are at war over land. The film explores the themes of war, land, and the struggle for survival.
