The National People's Party (Bangladesh) (Bengali: ন্যাশনাল পিপলস পার্টি (বাংলাদেশ)) is a political party in Bangladesh. It made it's debut on 19 July 2007 under the leadership of Sheikh Shawkat Hossain Nilu who was a former leader of the Jatiya Party (Ershad).[1] The party is currently divided into two parts with one being a part of the 20 Party Alliance with the other leading a separate coalition known as the NDF.
