Nathan H. Alexander was a mail carrier, public official, and Republican Party leader in Montgomery, Alabama.[1]

He was documented as "Colored".[2] His obituary states that he was one of the best known colored men in the state.[3]

In 1883 he was appointed a letter carrier.[4]

He attended Republican National Conventions.
