NOMELON NOLEMON is a Japanese pop duo formed in 2021 by Sony Music Entertainment. The duo is comprised of Vocaloid producer Tsumiki and vocalist Miki Maria.

Tsumiki is a Vocaloid producer who has produced various songs. In addition to composing, he also handles drums and guitar for music videos and live performances.

Miki Maria is also active as a singer-songwriter. She is also a former member of Plusonica, which has produced artists such as Ikura of YOASOBI, as well as Nishina.

The name of the group was deliberately made meaningless so that people wouldn't think they had to stick to a set style, instead meaning to cram various genres of music into a single name.

History

2021

On August 11th, Tsumiki announces the formation of NOMELON NOLEMON on his birthday.^[1] On the same day, Nippon Broadcasting System's "YOASOBI's All Night Nippon X" aired their first song, "INAZMA", marking the group's debut.^[2]
On August 12th, "INAZMA" was released on various platforms.^[3] On August 14th, the music video for the song was uploaded to YouTube and NicoNico.^[4]^[5]
On November 12th, their second single, "Yellow", was released.^[6]
On November 23rd, their 1st full album, "POP", was announced, with release planned for January 26th of 2022.^[7]

2022

On January 11th, the song "syrup" from the upcoming album "POP" was released early.^[8]
