Museum Music is the name of two albums by American rapper Edward Skeletrix. They were simultaneously released on January 1, 2025, one under the artist name "Edward Skeletrix", the other under "Im A Monster".

Background and release

Edward Skeletrix began making music when he was 15 years old, producing for rappers XXXTentacion and Night Lovell. He released his debut project, Skeletrix Language, in 2023.

The two Museum Music albums were released on January 1, 2025. They were released under different artist names; one under "Edward Skeletrix", the other under "Im A Monster".

Composition and reception

The albums feature maximalist beats with loud, glitchy synths. The vocals are Auto-Tuned and melodic. On the "Im A Monster" edition of Museum Music, the lyrics examine mental illness. HotNewHipHop's Alexander Cole said that the albums "very much fit the current wave of underground rap."

In a review of the albums, Cole wrote that "if this is the direction that music is heading, then perhaps Skeletrix is the Underground's Kanye West."
